In the 34th year of the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty (1695 AD), Jiang Zao, who was the supervisor of the kiln factory at that time, created this pavilion in the Cibian Temple, and took the poetic meaning of the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi's poem, "Waiting for the chrysanthemums to be yellow and the family brewing is ripe, so that we can be together with you, a drunken one, a Taoran," and inscribed it with the title of "Pavilion," which reads "Tao Ran". This is the origin of the name of the park.

Because of the different means of transportation to Taoranting, we met at the north gate and the south gate of the large Taoranting Park, and then met at the scenic spot of "Huaxia Pavilion Garden". We roam the garden, as if instantly traveled to a world full of classical flavor. Here green trees, flowers and grass, pavilions and pavilions are distributed in the landscape, the perfect blend of natural beauty and humanistic landscape.

The first thing that catches our eyes is the very solemn and elegant "Dawning Pavilion". It is modeled after the Dewaking Pavilion in front of the Qu Zi Ancestral Hall in Miluo County, Hunan Province, and the six-sided pavilion exudes a simple and ancient atmosphere. The carved dragons and algal wells inside the pavilion are of exquisite craftsmanship, which makes people marvel at the high skills of ancient craftsmen.

The plaques inscribed by Mao Dun and Zhao Puchu add to the pavilion's rich cultural heritage. Standing in front of the pavilion, looking at the gurgling stream and the nearby cliff carvings, people seem to be able to feel Qu Yuan's high purity and steadfastness in those years, and a wave of reverence for the great poet wells up in their hearts. The Pavilion of Waking Up Alone is specially built to commemorate Qu Yuan, who said in "The Fishing Father" that "the world is all turbid and I am only clear, and all people are drunk and I am only awake", which expresses his noble character of not being part of the same stream of dirt, and has made people admire this famous historical figure for many generations.

I have been to the Lanting Park in Shaoxing, so I am very familiar with its landscape. However, when I visit this place, although the landscape is not as real as the real Lanting, the imitation Lanting scene still has a familiar and intimate feeling.

On the small square to the north of the pavilion, the undulating long hill and the pipa-shaped boulder engraved with the full text of "Pipa Xing" add to the strong cultural atmosphere of the place.

It stands on the hill in the northeast corner of the park and is a twelve-pillar pavilion with hexagonal eaves and a pointed roof. In the south of the pavilion, there are three big golden characters of "Ruixiang Pavilion" written by Li Duo, surrounded by gray brick walls with yellow glazed tiles, which looks like the Ruixiang Pavilion. In fact, if you have time, you can take a nice dip in Taoranting Park, which boasts a deep cultural heritage. For example, the Cibei Nunnery in the park was built in the Yuan Dynasty. Famous patriots such as Lin Zexu, Gong Zizhen and Qiu Jin often came here to recite poems and express their feelings. "Before and after the May Fourth Movement, revolutionary pioneers such as Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai also engaged in revolutionary activities here. Now it is a key cultural relics protection unit in Beijing. On the central island are the tombstones of Gao Junyu, a famous activist in the early days of the Party, and Shi Pingmei, his former girlfriend. These cultural relics and monuments in the park are worth visiting and viewing.

Huaxia Pavilion Garden is like a three-dimensional history and culture book, allowing people to appreciate the beauty of the scenery at the same time, but also learned a lot of knowledge. Thus, it gives people a deeper knowledge and understanding of Chinese "pavilion" culture, and at the same time, it also makes people love the profoundness of Chinese traditional culture more.
