I remember when I was a kid, only on June 1, my parents would take me to the amusement park to play all day. At that time, I wished every day was Children's Day. Our family booked two nights in a Superior Twin Room, checking in on Friday and checking out on Sunday. However, when we booked the room, there was already only a twin room, so it's good that we can add an extra bed here for free. This time, I also realized that Summer, who is less than 4 years old, can already sleep in a crib by herself. As an old mother, I was both relieved and saddened. I'm glad that my child is becoming more independent, but I'm also sad that I can't cuddle with my soft baby at night.

Environment | The poetic church under the green mountains and wilderness

In Club Med Joyview Beijing Yanqing Resort, my favorite place is the church building under the mountains. Triangular shape, wooden structure, hollow design, fully integrated with the environment. Through the cross, the changing colors of the sky, clouds and mountains make the church less mysterious and more sacred. The effect of this changing light on the church even reminds me of Tadao Ando's Church of Light.

In the evening, slowly walk along the winding red path towards the church. Breathing in the fresh air of Yanqing, gazing at the mountains in the distance, and listening to the birds singing and insects singing, the children playing in the playground in the distance, the feeling of the quiet years is probably like this.

Yanqing The resort's amusement activities are mainly divided into indoor and outdoor two kinds, of which most of the indoor activities are concentrated in this 2-story "playground".

In the Mini Club, there are different themed activities every day, which can make your baby's life full and meaningful. Sponge pools, mini trampolines, ocean ball pools and slides, and mini castles ...... are all available. There is also a kitchen classroom where you can experience a family cooking class, which is subject to the hotel's notice.Summer also played a fun card game with her siblings, guided by the G.O big sister.

On the first floor is a water park and sports hall that the whole family can enjoy. Unfortunately this part is temporarily closed during the epidemic. But we took a brief tour and really wanted to play more and more. But now that Beijing has downgraded its emergency response to level 3 I believe these two heavy duty facilities will be back open soon. We would do it again for the water park and the sports hall as well.

The indoor children's playground on the second floor is the place for the little ones! Game Factory has a lot of high-tech interactive games, interactive beach, interactive soccer ...... two children's favorite is the interactive ocean ball. Except for Saturday when it rained, we spent most of the day at the indoor playground. More often than not, I prefer to take the kids to outdoor playgrounds. I still want them to soak up the sunshine, blow the gentle winds of early summer, and feel the gift of nature. Especially during the epidemic, when they were so cooped up at home, they would come out and have fun!

Fun | Hot Night Shows

Every night at 8:00 p.m., the stage on the first floor of the Hippodrome hosts a show with a different theme. On Friday night, the theme was Chinese, with lion dances, Tai Chi, and acrobatics, which the children enjoyed.
At the end of the show, all the children were called up to the stage to dance along with the performers.

The kids weren't enough, the dance instructor from Hawaii and the fitness instructor from Hawaii were there to lead the kids and adults to move - it was an explosion of excitement!

After the workout, we ordered a nice cocktail at the bar and watched the kids continue to play. When we got back to the room, Summer almost fell into her cot and fell into a deep sleep!

Play | Summer's first experience of stage performance

Saturday night's show was a special children's day show, and the cast was changed to include the youngest guests staying at the hotel on the day. The performances were organized by age and gender, with Summer being the youngest. After the afternoon festivities, there would be a small rehearsal first. After the groups were divided, the G.O. in charge of instruction for each group would lead the children through the dance.

This was Summer's first official stage performance in her life, and the hotel was very attentive to the rehearsal and the formal makeup. Especially for the little girls, it was probably the first time in their lives that they wore stage makeup.

Summer was less than 4 years old, and his team was the first group to perform, which was really a big deal. There was also a little boy who cried until the end of the show, and followed the G.O.'s movements on stage while crying, which was not easy either!

I'd like to commend Summer for leaving her parents after the costume change and waiting backstage with her co-stars. We were worried that he would have an emotional breakdown after his parents left. As it turned out, he surprised us all by waiting happily until he was on stage. He followed G.O's movements very carefully after he came on stage, and since he had only rehearsed once, he was a little bit unable to keep up at first, but later on, he got better. When I heard the people around me praising Summer on stage, they said, "This young man is really good", and my mother almost burst into tears.

The other groups of children are getting older and their stage performance is getting better and better. Especially the girls in this group who danced to Wang Xinling's "Love You", it was hard to believe that they had only rehearsed once.

Instead of having fun and enjoying the show, perhaps the best Children's Day gift is to work hard on the stage and break through their various "firsts"!

Fun | Children's Day Celebrations

I chose this time to come, is to give the children in the atmosphere of Club Med have a sense of ritual children's day. Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm, the children's day celebration of the big climb officially started ~ although because of the weather, the activity venue from the outdoor into the playground floor, but the lively and extraordinary atmosphere is not affected in the least.

During the parent-child DIY session, two children completed their bling bling masks with (mostly) the help of their moms. The kids did the painting while the moms assisted in gluing on the glittery gemstone stickers. I think the moms enjoyed it even more... It's easy to bring out the child in adults with parent-child activities!

Various inflatable rides filled the venue, and G.O. was transformed into cartoon characters full of festive atmosphere, which made me feel like I was back in my childhood.

Fun | Fairytale Train Ride

One day when we were walking aimlessly around the resort, we suddenly realized that there was a fairytale train.

The brownish-red train, tied with rainbow-colored ribbons, and the crystal-clear wishing bottles floated in the wind as we watched. The kids said it looked like Thomas the Train!

The little train ride will make a big circle around the resort, and in addition to enjoying the scenery of the hotel, it will make two stops that are very suitable for children. The first stop is the adorable mini zoo, where kids can feed the rabbits, ponies, and plum deer, as well as observe the divine white geese and arrogant peacocks.

Another very suitable for children is the vegetable picking garden, bring children here to recognize different vegetables, and city life should be a very different feeling. Unfortunately, it just rained and the garden was muddy, so we couldn't enter the garden for the time being. I hope we will have a chance next time.

Eat & Drink | A buffet restaurant where you can eat six meals in a row and never get tired!

Club Med Joyview 北京延庆 度假村一共有六个餐厅&酒吧，目前开放的是寻味餐厅、宜吧和大堂吧。 The Taste Restaurant is the main restaurant in the resort, which is in the form of a buffet. 3 days and 2 nights, we ate a total of six buffet meals here, and we really didn't get tired of it ~ the quality of the food is still good.

For breakfast, I think the highlights are the noodle stalls and the freshly made pancakes, which are very much street food. Compared to the western breakfast, the pancakes and doughnuts with noodles in soup, I feel that there are fireworks ~.

Chinese food is much more varied, and like in the morning, there are also snacks such as freshly made cold skin and noodles. It's a great way to mix it up with a big meal, and it's even more appetizing!

There are more hard-core dishes for dinner, such as freshly cut roasted leg of lamb, grilled steak, and freshly made teppanyaki, all of which satisfy the carnivore dads. As a resort featuring wine, the restaurant also presents many dishes with red wine elements, such as beef braised in red wine, which is a good taste that makes people recall the past.

The desserts at the restaurant are really cute!

I was impressed that G.O came in disguise to perform for a guest's birthday and sang a birthday song for him with the crowd, so I was really envious. What a sweet hotel!
